What is CSR

Corporate Social Responsibilities

CSR gives companies the chance to really work on putting their values into action. We can all talk a good game when it comes to our responsibilities, but CSR is basically the act of putting your money where your mouth is and doing things that make the world a better place. It’s all about improving society and contributing towards sustainable development for the business – growing in a way that means we can still care for the people we work with the planet that we work on.

When a business works with Supportal, the result is they do less to achieve more in their life and their business.

How do we promote and support our

Corporate Social Responsibility Policy?

We are all about saying and doing what you believe in. This includes the actions we take, the services we provide, and the support we give to small business owners.  It all centres around our CSR focus. These are some areas of our CSR policy that are particularly important.

Mental Health and well-being

Mental health and well-being is a hot topic amongst entrepreneurs and small business owners.

An unhealthy work-life balance directly affects our home and social life, and in turn, our mental health. Our Founder Chloe Jessamy holds this topic close to her heart. In her 15 years of providing support to independent business owners, she has helped many entrepreneurs refocus and set out on the road to recovery from burnout to flourishment.

Chloe made it her mission to combine both her passion and experience to help to support busy professionals in claiming back time and creating a healthier balance.

Equality for women

It’s not easy to be a woman nowadays. We may have gained far more rights than our predecessors, but the fact is that men still hold many more top-level positions in the workplace. A recent report showed that there were only 24 female CEOs in the Fortune 500. That’s only 5% of the total posts.

Supportal Services supports female entrepreneurs and business owners to feel empowered, strong, and be the best they can be in their business. We are the support that female business women need to ensure growth, development, and the ability to find joy in their business again.

We believe guidance makes a difference and encourages the female workforce to strive for success. Being a female mentor allows women to feel empowered and believe in their abilities. We seek, encourage and promote diversity, inclusion and great workplace equity through our Corporate Social Responsibility policy.

Supporting women at work

Not only do we support women as clients of Supportal, we also give female virtual assistants the support they need to thrive in their businesses too. We actively seek female VAs to join our team to support female entrepreneurs, creating a full circle of equality, encouragement and empowerment.

Chloe has 14 years of experience in helping women start online businesses and thrive in a competitive marketplace.
